Taylor's first ever book is now available for purchase under the title, “Istanbul.”
Taylor Pool is an analog photographer who has been working in the darkroom for 14 years who specifically focuses on street photography and portraits. His new book titled "Istanbul" is a series highlighting the core of humanity and tradition, and the war in-between. During his stay in Istanbul he saw a clash of cultures within the the concrete jungle. The old and young separated by clothing and beliefs, while the city itself is split between two continents. Throughout all the differences, he saw what people do best, which is being human. That idea of "being human" is something we can all relate to despite the walls we might have, which Taylor shows through his analog black and white photos of Istanbul.
“Istanbul” is compiled exclusively of scanned darkroom prints and scanned negatives.
